At Klicks by Kapturise, your privacy — and the privacy of your event guests — is fundamental to how we build our product. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Account information: when you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and billing details.
Event content: photos and videos uploaded by event organizers and photographers to their galleries.
Biometric data: when a guest scans their face, we generate an encrypted mathematical representation (a face embedding) used solely to match the guest with their photos. We do not sell or share this data, and it is never used for any other purpose.
Usage data: basic analytics such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.
To provide the service: matching guests with their photos, hosting galleries, and delivering albums.
To communicate with you: service updates, support replies, and — only if you opt in — product news.
To improve Klicks: aggregated, anonymized usage insights guide our product decisions.
Face scanning is always opt-in. Guests are informed before scanning and must actively consent.
Face embeddings are encrypted at rest and in transit, and are automatically deleted when an event gallery is deleted or upon request.
Guests may request deletion of their biometric data at any time by contacting support@kapturise.com.
Event galleries and associated data are retained for the lifetime of the organizer's account.
If an account is cancelled, galleries remain accessible for 30 days for download, after which all data — including face embeddings — is permanently deleted.
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, payment processing) bound by strict data processing agreements, or when required by law.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted, logged, and reviewed. We regularly audit our security practices.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@kapturise.com and we will respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
